How does Olive Garden pay out tips to their servers?

I am starting training as a server next week, and I was wondering how tipping works. Do servers get their tips at the end of the shift or do they pay tips and hourly wage on the weekly checks?

ok my husband has been working for the Olive Garden for 10 years. First don’t count on your paycheck, you’ll be lucky if it is 40 bucks. I believe the hourly is like 3.00 sumthing an hour but I could be wrong. My husband works 30 hours a week and most off the time his check is between 30 and on a great week it is 50.00
As the tips go you get your tips after every shift you work. My husband makes really good money there. He actually makes more money at the OG then at his day job. But, if you can help it stay away from lunch shifts, the money is in the night shifts. And if you work a double which is lunch and dinner, try not to take a break, you will make so much more money, like 200.00+ for that day. But if you just want to work at night easily you’ll make 150-175 on Friday or Sat. During the week days you won’t make that much generally between 70-90ish. But of course it depends where you work etc. SOme of the Olive Gardens aren’t as busy as others and so forth

eta. the training is hard. You have to know that menu inside and out, all the wines, types of liquors, specialty drinks, beers etc. On the food menus you even need to know the ingredients that are in the dishes, but all and all it helps when you take tables on your own you know what your doing and you can answer questions a guest mayy have
